Abstract
In modern society, more in the particular case of democratic systems, the right to information has been defended as a fundamental right. However, at the end of the 20th century, and part of what is going on in the 21st, there was a high development of the mass media, having the effect of influencing the public opinion of citizens, sometimes with the aim of promoting in all a “unique thought”. Today, the advancement of communication technologies has been accompanied by a proliferation of social networks, which have a high influence on citizens, as if it were a democratization of information, with the appearance of pluralism in the present societies.
